Innovation that scales — the role of accelerators in transforming retail industry

If you ever wondered how corporate accelerators worked, why companies decide to organize them, what preparations need to take place beforehand and how are they managing to bridge the gap between startup and corporate culture, join us on November 19 at 4pm CET, for a talk about a very concrete case from the Russian market, happening in the retail industry as we speak. We’ll talk about the retail chain Lenta, which runs over 400 shops in almost 90 Russian cities and what led them to partner up with GenerationS, whose team has handled over 500 startup accelerations and which comprises a network of more than 1500 experts and mentors that are helping in strengthening the community gathered around innovation.

Jelena Šaranović will discuss all this in detail with our guests from Moscow — Anna Larionova and Irina Martynova. Anna is the Manager of Innovation Development at Lenta, which she joined after consulting for the World Bank — International Bank for Reconstruction and being the Business Development Manager at KPMG. Irina is the Head of Corporate Direction of GenerationS and a part of the team that designed the Best Corporate Accelerator in Europe as awarded by the Corporate Startup Summit in 2018, while she has also developed digital products and programs for top-international banks like Raiffeisen and Société Générale and FMCG companies, like Procter & Gamble.
