The track starts in 2016 for the first time with the support of the Russian mega-regulator — the Bank of Russia. The track will combine projects in the area of financial technologies, services and e-commerce.

The Finance & Banking Technologies track helps projects founders in the area of financial technologies, creating advanced products and services to implement their ideas in the world market. The participants will have access to advanced knowledge and industrial assessment; they will get acquainted and will work on their projects together with the market leaders.

As part of GenerationS, the Bank of Russia announces a call for applications for participation in the competition-FinTech of startups, which will be held in the framework of the Forum of innovative financial technology FINOPOLIS 2.0 on October 13-14 in Kazan(http://finopolis.ru/). The acceptance of applications will last until September 12, after which the Competition Commission will select 18 projects most promising from the standpoint of the Russian financial market development. They will be presented to a wide range of participants in the FINOPOLIS 2.0 Forum on special Walk of FinTech startups. In addition, the start-ups will be able to hold a pitch session in front of a very prestigious panel of judges. Three winners will receive cash prizes and senior mentors, widely known in the Russian FinTech market.

PROGRAM

The Finance & Banking Technologies acceleration track program starts on November 22 just after three days of full-time coaching and selection of participants of corporate accelerators (BootCamp GenerationS-2016) and will run until February 28, 2017.

During the program, consultations, workshops and webinars for sales, marketing and raising finance will be organized; the work with industrial partners, developing skills and building technology business partnerships will be carried out.

The program will include specialized trainings, consultations and workshops, as well as the lectures by leading industry representatives, including foreign ones. The acceleration program will give the track participants the opportunity to work with personal mentors and experts of Industrial partners, as well as meet with representatives of Russian venture funds at the seed stage and business angels. In addition, the authors of the best projects will be able to get to the international practical training, which includes talks with representatives of leading enterprises.

The program participants will be able to build communication with companies, Industry organizations and potential clients, which may result in making deals and partnerships, launching pilots and co-products.
