SPEAKER INFORMATION

Tanel is a Technology executive with over 20 years of experience in building software and

teams in a variety of industries. For the last 10 years, Tanel has helped ID.me in building the

Identity layer for the internet and growing the company from 20 employees to over 1000

employees. He architected ID.me’s Identity Gateway platform that is certified to operate at

NIST standards and is used by almost 100 million users today across multiple government

agencies and private companies. As the CTO of ID.me, Tanel guides the overall technical

direction of the organization, scaling of the technology teams and strengthening the company’s

position as leader in digital identity.
