Startup Grind will gather some of the most interesting people in Batumi in tech and entrepreneurship Saturday afternoon.  You don't have to be a startup to enjoy the community of local tech leaders, young business leaders, expats managing international businesses in Georgia and others who build and scale companies.  

Our special guest will be Georgian founder Nika Abashidze who has grown an amazing following in Georgia with his car-servicing app CARU and is now entering the US market in New York City.

5-6:00 Networking time with light refreshments and wine. Meet interesting people from Batumi and beyond, to share stories, ideas, contacts and dreams. 
6-7:00 Fireside chat with Nika Abashidze, founder of CARU, the car service app that is a tremendous success in Georgia and has now launched in New York City to approach the US market. 
7-8:00 Networking time with light refreshments

Georgian founder Nika Abashidze became semi-famous in the tech world when his publicity stunt at TechCrunch went viral.  A TC participant posted a picture of Nika with a tee-shirt proclaiming his sales and profit numbers to attract the attention of investors. Hundreds-of-thousands of views on LinkedIn helped Nika's fundraising where he has $2M in commitments.
