GenerationS has chosen IBM Cloud for creating an online-platform
IBM and GVA LaunchGurus developed a cloud solution which will provide access to unique educational platform for more than two thousands of technical entrepreneurs from Russia during the first stage of GenerationS.
The new solution is used for the pre-accelerator’s most important part, an online educational program, which consists of eight stages. Every stage includes video lectures, testing tasks, entrepreneurs work on their projects, consultations with experts and mentors. The program is built on IBM Cloud’s platform which is flexible, scalable and simple in managing.
Tuition is based on an online educational program where every student (startup) has own profile with the studying progress displayed. Experts’ and mentors’ profiles show the results of those startups they act as individual instructors. GVA LaunchGurus and RVC developed the system directly for GenerationS.
To open the door for common work of 400 experts and more than 2000 startups a series of innovating solutions were introduced in the platform . Experts and mentors rate projects’ progress according to a complex rating system which includes the importance of different educational blocks. Participants’ progress is shown in different graphs. This lets tutors observe performance of their trainees and also provides the opportunity for new experts to step in concrete startup’s educational progress quickly.
