The BiotechMed Track’s acceleration program has a Facebook page all its own. You can see photos from the program on the world’s No. 1 social network, as well as catching up on the latest news and finding out why the end does not justify the means.
The Facebook page is updated on a regular basis, with 5 – 7 new posts added every day. For example, some of the things you can find there are quotes from professionals working with companies like Ernst & Young, InVenture and VCGroup who speak at the acceleration events. Certainly, it is the most memorable words of these speakers that get selected for the FB page.
“Yes, you have to build a Great Pyramid of Giza, you must bring your idea home to everyone, but the end does not justify the means, instead, the means enable you to justify and confirm the possibility of reaching your end goal. The strategic goal of your project is to reach A in time B, which will meet the criteria C,” Andrey Zotov, Managing Partner with ADJ Consulting, was quoted as saying in the FB community.
As a reminder, the BiotechMed acceleration program was launched in Tomsk on September 8 and will continue for 17 days. As many as 50 speakers (42 based in Russia and 8 international) and 10 mentors will participate in the program, which will also include eight meetings and video conferences with Russian and international investors. The acceleration program will culminate in a final on the Demo Day — September 23 — when projects properly packaged as commercial propositions are presented to industry experts and investors. The best 10 contestants will go on to attend a coaching session in Moscow and present their projects to Russian and international investors in the overall GenerationS final at the Open Innovation forum.
