The number of new entrepreneurs interested in joining the 2014 GenerationS contest is still growing fast. As many as 475 applicants have declared their desire to learn and grow with the GenerationS project by the beginning of this week, according to the Russian Startup Rating Service, a contest partner.
Moscow and the Moscow Region are still in the lead among all regions with 127 applications. St. Petersburg, Russia’s historic northern capital city is still runner-up with 51 applications. Besides, 24 startup entrepreneurs from the Sverdlovsk Region have announced their desire to join the contest, 18 from each the Krasnoyarsky Krai and Tatarstan, while the Tomsk Region (15 applications), Krasnodarsky Krai (11 applications), the Irkutsk, Chelyabinsk and Nizhniy Novgorod Regions (which have submitted 10 applications each) round out the top 10 of applicants’ home regions.
