As many as 146 entrepreneurial teams and startups have submitted applications for the GenerationS contest in the two weeks since the application process began.
Moscow and St. Petersburg are in the lead by the number of applications, with 63 and 23 applications respectively, followed by the Tatarstan Republic, a region within Russia, with 6 applicants. An additional 25 Russian regions, as well as Belarus, Kazakhstan, Ukraine and Finland, have submitted 1 – 3 applications each.

The GenerationS nationwide Russian technology startup contest was first held in 2013. The contest is organized by the Russian Venture Company (RVC) and the Moscow Center for Innovative Development and is supported by the Moscow City Hall. The GenerationS contest is currently open for applications.
