Corporate Day of Moscow United Power Grid Company (MUPGC) for the Participants of GenerationS Startups' Federal Accelerator
The corporate day of Moscow United Power Grid Company (MUPGC) (making a part of Federal Grid Company SE) was held within GenerationS Startups' Federal Accelerator on September 1.
Supporting Public Policy in the Sphere of Innovations Development, MUPGC proposed an initiative to invite the participants of Power&Energy area (modern power generation technologies) of GenerationS Federal Startup Accelerator, organized by RVC, to its facilities and production sites. Master Classes were conducted for the event participants as well as visits to the Network management Center, excursion to Elokhovskaya Sub-Plant, demonstration of work of power generating laboratory.
The representatives of Federal Grid Company PJSC, Moscow United Power Grid Company (MUPGC) PJSC, Local Grid Operator SE took the floor at the event. The discussed topics pertained innovative policy, support to small and medium business, tendencies of development of power networks in Russia and in the world. Dmitriy Ruban, the main expert of the Department of Technological Development and Innovations of Federal Grid Company PJSC and Sergey Panfilov, the Director of Business processes Standardization Department of MUPGC PJSC told about innovative policy of companies and answered many questions of the present. "Support of Small and Medium Business When Implementing the Policy of MUPGC PJSC in the sphere of Purchasing Procedure" by Ekaterina Bugrovaya, the Director of the Competitive procedure Organization Department and "Development of Charging Infrastructure for Power Transport within Implementation of MUPGC - EV Project" by Sergey Stepnov, the Deputy Director of Business processes Automation Department were especially interesting for the participants. Immediately after the report by Sergey Stepnov the demonstration of mobile power laboratory of MUPGC arranged on the electric car basis was conducted.
The teams of participants having held prize places in All-Russian Competition of Innovative projects and Developments in Power generation "Energoproryv" of 2013 and 2014 took part in this event together with the participants of Power&Energy track. Dmitriy Titov, the Senior Lecturer of Kamyshinskiy Technological Institute, one of winners at "Energoproryv"-2014 Competition, implements "Monitoring System of Intensive Icing (MII) at the Overhead Power Lines" project at the facilities of MUPGC PJSC. "Today's day spent in MUPGC, — said Dmitriy Titov, — permitted to study closer the company's activity, its employees. Visiting of Elekhovskaya Sub-Plat and master class on mechanism of presenting of new product at the power generation market were especially useful for me".
The participants of the corporate day pointed out that it was very important to be aware of the needs of the major power companies for the developers companies. They gratefully pointed out the intensive program of the event and a lot of useful information they received at the corporate day of MUPGC. Besides the representatives of five projects of Power&Energy Track, selected by expert group of MUPGC as most conforming to the current requests of the company's innovative policy, received personal consulting on the development of their products and technologies on the part of the representatives of MUPGC technical unit.
