The business breakfast on the topic “Investment financing and crediting of the fast-growing hi-tech companies" organized by the LOGA Group was held on January 28 in the Technopark STROGINO
Representatives of venture fund of Promsvyazbank and "OPORA ROSSII", VTB24, VTB24 Leasing, PAO (PJSC) Promsvyazbank met the residents of the Technopark STROGINO and participants of the GenerationS accelerator.
Leasing, factoring and the venture capital were the most actively discussed issues during breakfast. It turned out that most frequently businessmen are facing difficult process of examination of financing applications, and banks representatives complain of mistrust of clients to new products.
Dmitry Tsivilev, CEO of Giftery (finalist of GenerationS-2014 and the resident of the Technopark STROGINO), said that fast-growing business of the company and increase in number of corporate clients requires external financing of working capital. Giftery is going to select an appropriate bank for cooperation on financial products.
Alyona Sokova, head of venture fund of Promsvyazbank and "OPORA ROSSII", suggested that the bank currently develops new types of credit products for fast-growing companies. At an early stage, the company may address the venture fund and receive up to RUB 10 million. The head of the fund recommended to Giftery to consider factoring within the given case as a factoring agreement allows to reduce risks.
Various forms of crediting, leasing programs and ways of obtaining financing by the fast-growing hi-tech companies turned out to be the main subject of discussion with VTB24. Irina Kopylova, Manager of the Department on Cooperation with Partners of VTB24 Leasing told the participants of business breakfast about the options which help to update and expand the fixed assets, including a possibility of acquisition of commercial real estate for lease.
The business breakfast format allowed both participants and representatives of banks to find out ideas for development. "We have agreed on further interaction with VTB24 and Promsvyazbank", summarized the founder of the Giftery Dmitry Tsivilev the meeting results.
"In July, 2015 we submitted an application for financing of the project to Promsvyazbank and our application was rejected", said the project manager of LightTech Naira Davidson. But once the GenerationS accelerator was passed and we started to cooperate with some major customers, project risks decreased, and the opportunities for investors became more interesting, Naira explains. "During the business breakfast we managed to talk with representatives of Promsvyazbank and this time we were able to agree on a meeting to discuss an option of raising funds from MSB Venture Fund for our project".
The CEO of Science and Technopark STROGINO Sergey Teplov noted: "We are very glad to see representatives of the banks and investors interested in cooperation with our companies and also the GenerationS finalists, which we are waiting for with pleasure as the potential residents of the Technopark STROGINO.
