WiseSoil, a Portfolio Company of the RVC SIF, became winner in the Pioneers Moscow Contest
The WiseSoil ecological project of the RVC SIF portfolio company, finalist of the GenerationS-2014 accelerator, became winner of the Russian round of the Global Pioneers international program that is held in 32 cities of the world for the purpose of commercialization of the best technology solutions. WiseSoil "Green Technologies" significantly increase economic and energy efficiency of the organic wastes recycling and solve the issue of fertile soil layer recovery.
WiseSoil product is an ultra sound system for preparation of the organic wastes biological material for biogas reactors which reduces processing time twice and increases quantity of biogas two-fold and costs only 5% of the reactor cost. In 2014, RVC Seed Fund included the company – finalist of the GenerationS-2014 in its investment portfolio and provided the WiseSoil specialists with the opportunity to visit the biotechnological accelerators in Israel. In 2014, the project won the Green Innovation Competition-2014 contest in Finland, joined the top three awardees at the Vnesheconombank contest for the best innovation project and joned the semi-final of the American accelerator for the most promising start-ups in "clean technologies" CleanTech Open South East. WiseSoil priority markets are Russia, CIS, EU and USA. More than 200 biogas installations are located in the USA, more than 5 thousand - in Europe. Market volume in cash equivalent is 1 billion EUR, market growth rate is not less than 10% per year.
The first event of the "Grill-my-Startup – Pioneers Moscow" series was held by support of the Skolkovo Open University on March 12, 2016. The jury of experts selected technology start-up projects in seven areas: financial services; business and productivity; materials and production; power engineering; mobility and transportation; life sciences and agriculture; life style and entertainment.
By winning the Pioneers Moscow, WiseSoil was awarded the pioneers500-2016 status and an invitation to the Pioneers Festival - the most popular European start-up conference that will be held in Vienna on May 24-25, 2016.
