ALROSA Joint stock company (PJSC), the largest in the world company for diamond mining volume, became industry partner of GenerationS federal accelerator.
GenerationS is the largest in Russia and Eastern Europe accelerator of technology start-ups organized by RVC. During the accelerator, the best projects, selected on the basis of the results of a multi-stage assessment, receive intensive development and rich opportunities to attract new investment. ALROSA JSC will support Mining&Metals corporate track that joins a wide range of precious metal refining and processing technologies, diamonds mining and smart investments from the global industry leaders.
Within a framework of this track, start-ups in the field on metallurgy, diamond mining and relevant industries will be able to represent their technologies and receive an opportunity to elaborate, implement, build joint business, attract investments or sell technologies in traditionally complicated and closed industries.
ALROSA invites projects in the field of technologies for geological exploration, unmanned diamond mining by surface mining or underground method, preliminary dry-cleaning and crystal-saving cleaning of diamondiferous ore.
In order to increase operational performance ALROSA JSC actively looks for expenses structure optimisation on all production stages through the use of new technologies. Company's investments in R&D in 2015 constituted 2.04 billion roubles.
Applications from the technology entrepreneurs are accepted on the GenerationS official website till September 15. To become a participant of the accelerator, please complete the registration form on: en.generation-startup.ru/register/. GenerationS super final will be held in March 2017. The winners will share the prize fund of 15,000,000 roubles and also receive prizes from the accelerator partners, Besides, they will be offered the opportunity to continue cooperating with corporate partners or get funding towards developing and refining the final product.
