The Foundation to promote innovation has funded a project of the GenerationS accelerator member

The Contest «Development-STI» is held by the Foundation to promote innovation in support of R & D in order to implement the road maps of the National Technology Initiative. Small enterprises may become participants, the maximum amount of the grant is 20 million rubles. According to the results of the contest in 2016, out of 605 applications, 128 projects received funding.

The Emotian project has received 5 million rubles to develop the monitoring of emotional states of people technology with reference to the geolocation. Monitoring is planned to be carried out based on biometric and neuro data using software models of artificial intelligence based on neural networks. The project received funding under the development of STI Neyronet roadmap, which aims to form the Russian market of means of machine-human communications, based on cutting-edge developments in neuroscience by 2035.

Earlier, in November 2016, the Emotian team was selected as the biggest in Russia and Eastern Europe, a start-up accelerator GenerationS from RVC. The project became the participant of the corporate accelerator Creative Industries, aimed at developing new technologies in the field of media, design, entertainment, and social entrepreneurship. The corporate partners of the track is the production center «Sher Oston», a film company AMEDIA and an advertising and communications holding company Publicis Communications Russia. The acceleration track program will run until February 2017.

The GenerationS winners will be announced at the super-final, which will take place in April 2017. The GenerationS-2016 prize fund will amount to 15 million rubles. The total value of the prizes from the partners will exceed 100 million rubles.
