The GenerationS names of winners to be announced on April 25

The final of the largest start-up accelerator GenerationS in Russia and Eastern Europe will be held in Moscow in the Concert Hall Live Stadium. The total value of prizes will exceed 100 million RUB.

The major GenerationS event will unfold as a large — scale technological show and will bring together several hundred entrepreneurs, Russian and foreign investors, business angels, representatives of corporations and members of the innovation ecosystem. The accelerator has been organized by RVC since 2013.

The visitors of the GenerationS — 2016 finals will get to know the accelerator's 40 best start — ups . Scientists, engineers and entrepreneurs will present their developments in the areas of financial technology, energy, 3D printing, metallurgy, agriculture, biomedicine, advertising, design and retail, and smart cities.

The key moment of the finals and the entire GenerationS — 2016 will be the performances by eight final teams — one for each of the accelerator's industry track. The developers will present their projects to the GenerationS Board of Trustees who will determine three winners to share the prize fund of the accelerator and the winners of special nominations from the partners of GenerationS.

In 2016, 4237 applications from 30 countries were submitted for participation in GenerationS. At the end of the multistage selection, 120 best teams passed into corporate accelerators in eight industry areas: AgroBioTech& Food, Сreative Industries, Finance& Banking Technologies, LifeScience, Mining&;Metals, Power& Еnergy, SmartCity, TechNet.

About 20 Russian corporations, including QIWI, the Moscow Stock Exchange, NPO Saturn, Krastsvetmet, BFK Severniy, GC EFKO and others took an immediate part in the selection and acceleration of projects.
