VentureClub Investors to invest 100 thousand dollars in the GenerationS start-up

Investors who have joined VentureClub will be able to invest from 10 thousand dollars in start-ups of accelerator graduates in energy, agriculture, biomedicine, advertising, design and retail, advanced production technologies and smart cities sectors. The team of the winning project will receive investments from the investor club in the amount of at least 100 thousand dollars.

A potential investor must be a participant or partner of VentureClub, leave an application for participation in the jury of the competition held by the club, and invest at least 10 thousand dollars in the fund for the winner. Evaluation of GenerationS-2016 alumni projects will be carried out via an online account access to which will only be granted to founders of start-ups and VentureClub representatives. In their decision, the jury members will be guided by the investment attractiveness criteria of the investor club. In particular, the development of a start-up team must solve an important issue for existing markets, and technological entrepreneurs need to have relevant work experience and a good understanding of their business. The maximum amount of investment from one investor is not limited and will be individually discussed with project teams after completion of voting.

To participate in the competition, technology entrepreneurs need to form a request with an indication of the required amount of investment, as well as valuation of the company. In addition, the start-up team must fill out an application on the VentureClub web portal, sign an agreement on cooperation with the club and pass the selection procedure prepared by the organizing committee of the competition.

The names of the winners and the total amount of investments from VentureClub will be announced at the GenerationS final which will be held on April 25 in Moscow at Stadium Live.
