“PERI Innovations” launches NCFD 2017 Start-up School
July 6, 2017 will see the start of NCFD 2017 Start-up School – a large-scale educational program for start-ups of the North Caucasus Federal District.
The General Partner of the Start-up School is the Russian Venture Company (RVC), a government fund of funds and a ventured development institute of the Russian Federation. Due to the partnership with RVC, the NCFD 2017 Start-up School becomes one of the regional offices, participates in the collection of applications for GenerationS and provides advice to entrepreneurs on how to get training in the national major start-up-accelerator.
Business incubator “PERI Innovations” together with RVC will hold a series of events in all major cities of the Caucasus – Makhachkala, Grozny, Vladikavkaz, Nalchik, Stavropol, Pyatigorsk. The NCFD 2017 Start-up School will finish in Makhachkala with the final presentation of the best projects to the expert jury and investors on DemoDay.
The event is open to teams that implement projects in the field of IT, SAAS, biomedicine, energy, industrial technologies and creative entrepreneurship. The project can be either an elaborated idea or an active business.
“For start-up projetcs, this is more than just making an appearance in front of large funds, investors and business angels, it is also a real opportunity to learn how to build your business correctly by the example of successful cases,” said Gadzhimurad Aliyev, the director of the “PERI Innovations” business incubator.
The first event under the Start-up School will be the master class “Business Mistakes and Tips on How to Avoid It”, given by Mikhail Erman, the director of the Business Incubator, which is part of the Higher School of Economics
Following the results of the Start-up School, each participant will receive a real practical experience in creating an innovative company and in one month will learn what other people achieve for years. The developers of the most promising ideas will have the opportunity to raise investment, secure assistance in entering new markets as well as cooperation from the partners of the event.
The partners of the event are the Federal Agency for Youth Affairs, the Ministry of Education and Youth Policy of the Stavropol Territory, the Foundation for the Promotion of Innovative Development of the Stavropol Territory, the Center for Information Technologies of the Republic of North Ossetia-Alania, the Technopark “High Technologies of the State Chechen University”, the Ministry of Youth Affairs of the Republic of Dagestan.
