A special nomination has been established in GenerationS-2017 for HealthNet NTI track
GenerationS, the largest start-up accelerator in Russia and Eastern Europe run by RVC, has established a nomination in the field of medical services and medicines. The best project will be considered by the HealthNet Working Group of the National Technological Initiative (NTI) to be included in the NTI Roadmap and to receive comprehensive infrastructure, administrative and financial support.
Entrepreneurs who can boast of having developed products in biotechnological and medical fields intended for the improvement of human health and quality of life are allowed to take part in special nomination.
GenerationS supports the search for ideas in the areas of new technologies of molecular genetic diagnostics for the prevention and treatment of diseases, drugs and genetic therapy methods, technologies of regenerative medicine, products for controlling antibiotic resistance, and development of personalized medicines.
For the selection as future participants of the NTI roadmap in the HealthNet track, projects have to correspond to Biomedicine or Medical Genetics tracks of the road map, have an innovative component, be oriented towards the international market, have a competent team and a detailed commercialization plan.
The HealthNet NTI Roadmap is aimed at finding solutions in the areas of preventive medicine, sports and health, medical genetics, information technology in medicine, healthy longevity and biomedicine. According to forecasts, the global HealthNet market will increase to USD 9 trillion by 2035, the Russian share will amount to at least 3% of the global volume.

GenerationS and the accelerator’s partners provide developers with access to such facilities. GenerationS-2017 is a Federal Start-up Accelerator that holds acceleration in seven different areas: increase in efficiency of agriculture and solutions in the field of new medicines (Agro & MedTech); new media, fashion, design and entertainment (Creative); power engineering (Power & Energy); banking and financial services (FinTech); metals processing, mining machinery management and raw material quality management (Mining & Metals); smart production and systems implementation (TechNet); civil technologies with prospects for the production of weapons, military and special equipment (Dual Technologies).
