Five teams of graduates from GenerationS, the largest start-up accelerator in Russia and Eastern Europe, established by RVC, will present their projects at the Singapore Week of Innovation and Technology (SWITCH 2017) to be held from 18 to 20 September.
SWITCH 2017 is the largest innovation event in South-East Asia dedicated to technological entrepreneurship, technology transfer and venture financing. The key events within the the Singapore week SWITCH 2017 are SLUSH Singapore and TechInnovation, attended by more than 700 delegates and speakers annually.
RVC experts selected five graduates of GenerationS-2016 to participate in SWITCH 2017. Visitors to the exhibition can get a closer look at the platform for private investors from Newton start-up while on RVC booth. Representatives of LocalGuide will demonstrate a market place for tourist guide services. Oz Forensics will show capabilities of a software platform able to verify authenticity of digital documents and photographs. Developers of Panda Money will present a mobile application for teaching financial literacy to children and adults. And Phoenix 3D project team will present its technology of 3D printing from refractory metals of platinum group.
As part of the event, startups will present their developments to potential foreign partners, and will also take part in the conference and master classes aimed at implementation of innovative technologies.
“A technological startup must have an idea of future scaling, be oriented not only to the local, but also to the international market. With the support of GenerationS, entrepreneurs gain knowledge and expertise necessary for this purpose, but even accelerator is over, training goes on. Every year, graduates of the GenerationS take part in international events, develop their presentation skills and expand the network of their potential customers. Such projects have traditionally been highly appreciated by foreign corporations, investors and largest venture funds,” said Mikhail Antonov, Deputy CEO and Director for Innovative Infrastructure Development at RVC JSC.
Start-ups of GenerationS graduates will be introduced in the RVC exhibition area at booth C10, in halls D and E.
