"Krastsvetmet" is planning to cooperate with 12 GenerationS participants

222 applications for participation in Mining&Metals track were submitted from the projects in the field of mining, power saving, metallurgy and related industries. During the distance expertise, 47 participant-teams from Moscow, Saint-Petersburg, Yekaterinburg, Irkutsk, Ufa, Krasnoyarks and other Russian cities were invited to the Bootcamp, where they passed through training and represented their developments to the partners.

"Main interest for us is the projects aimed at creation of the new products. This year, we strengthened expertise at the applications selection stage. The focus of the Mining&Metals 2017 track program will be shifted to more strict selection and further development of the projects", Maksim Irishkin the Head of innovation projects at "Krastsvetmet" and R&D Park director said.

"Mining and metallurgy is a complicated industry. We work with it for the second year - we strive for correct positioning of the start-up solutions for possible integration in the technology system of the corporate partners. It's a pleasure to see the teams that participated in the accelerator last year, and present the ready products to the GenerationS partners today. Most projects are of interest to the companies, they are ready to continue dialog with the start-ups even outside of the acceleration program to find possible cooperation directions", Ekaterina Petrova, the Head of GenerationS accelerator noticed.

GenerationS - the major start-up accelerator in Russia and Eastern Europe, the federal corporate platform to develop acceleration tools. It has been held by RVC since 2013. Over 20 Russian companies, interested in selecting and accelerating start-ups, become industrial partners to GenerationS on an annual basis. As a result of the multi-stage examination, the GenerationS participants receive ample opportunities for business development and investment promotion as well as access to resources and infrastructure of accelerator partners. In 2017 only, 3,470 applications from 13 countries were submitted to participate in GenerationS.
