Opening of the GenerationS-2017 TechNet acceleration program was held at PJSC UEC-Saturn

The following persons participated in the opening ceremony: Governor of Yaroslavl Region Dmitry Mironov, deputy CEO — Managing Director of UEC-Saturn PJSC Viktor Poliakov, deputy CEO — Director for Innovation Infrastructure Development of RVC Mikhail Antonov, representatives of the industry and universities of Yaroslavl Region and 12 technology projects that passed through the on-site selection in GenerationS-2017.

Acceleration program consists of ten intensive days full of practical work. Start-up participants will spare them in Rybinsk, Yaroslavl region, in joint work with the experts of the industrial partner adopting the best practices in forming production systems for science-driven products, getting acquainted with the technology integration processes at the state corporations, technological requirements of the enterprises in Yaroslavl region and the region innovation infrastructure.

Governor of Yaroslavl region Dmitry Mironov: “One of the priority directions of the Social and Economy Development Strategy of Yaroslavl region "10 Growth Points" is support for the innovation productions. Our industry is interested in finding new perspective technologies and is ready to integrate and develop innovation programs that are the future. Representatives of small innovation enterprises and higher educational establishments presenting their developments deserve special attention. At the UEC-Saturn venue, the leading regional enterprise, authors of these projects will be able to tightly work with the specialists and experts, establish new partner relations with the industrial consumers from different regions of Russia, including the enterprises of Yaroslavl region".

Deputy CEO — Managing Director of UEC-Saturn Viktor Poliakov: “Today we open the acceleration program in a new facility No.140, where, upon delivery and installation of all necessary equipment, one of the best in the world production of turbine airfoil will be launched. A part of technological solutions will be based on the advanced production technologies such as additive technologies, digital design and modelling, industrial internet. It will be our first significant step towards creation of Factory of the Future. We expect that some part of the project teams attending here will be able to integrate their solutions in the technological processes of the competency center "Turbine Airfoil".

Deputy CEO — Director for innovation infrastructure development of RVC Mikhail Antonov:"Development of the corporate innovation system is one of the priority RVC tasks. For the third year in raw, GenerationS and UEC-Saturn hold the joint accelerator, which shows readiness of the industrial enterprises to work with the new technologies. Participants that passed through the selection to a new GenerationS season will get an opportunity to test their developments at the production testing arena "Smart Factory" and then become a part of the NTI TechNet market roadmap".

UEC-Saturn PJSC is an industrial partner of GenerationS accelerator from 2015. The TechNet track aims at finding the best solutions in the field of advanced production technologies.

In 2017, 399 applications for participation in TechNet track from the projects in the field of digital design and modelling, additive technologies, industrial internet, sensor systems, robotics, CNC-technologies were submitted. The on-site selection to the TechNet track was held in January 2018 in Moscow. Members of NTI TechNet task force — track co-organizer, leading specialist of the industrial partner UEC-Saturn PJSC and the Investment Partner — "RT- Business Development" selected 12 projects for the production test arena "Factory of the Future".

Based on the results on the acceleration program, the best projects will be able to get support within the framework of NTI, test and integrate their developments in the production, and fight for the track prize fund in the mount of 15 million rubles.

GenerationS - the major start-up accelerator in Russia and Eastern Europe, the federal corporate platform to develop acceleration tools. It has been held by RVC since 2013.
