GenerationS starts selection of the technological start-ups for ALROSA
ALROSA, a global leader in the diamond-mining industry, started selection of technological start-ups based of the GenerationS corporate accelerator run by RVC. The best projects will receive an opportunity to collectively work over the solutions and cooperate with the corporation in the future.
ALROSA is searching for possibility to increase operational efficiency through the new technologies. In 2016, the company already was GenerationS partner. Based on the acceleration results, the company entered into partnership agreement and continues working with the track finalist Mining&Metals - producer of the hydro prospecting system Isotest 2.0.
New selection is aimed at technological start-ups developing innovation projects in one of the industry directions:
- sorting and sales of diamonds;
- open and underground mining;
- geological exploration and drilling;
- technology of enrichment of diamond ore and sand;
- energy efficiency;
- ecology and industrial safety.
ALROSA is interested in start-ups both with ready solutions and those on the early stages with the prototype. As a result of application collection ALROSA and GenerationS experts will evaluate the solutions and select up to 10 best projects that are able to get money prizes, financing within the framework of ALROSA competition and continue cooperation with the corporation.
