The corporate accelerator GenerationS run by RVC and international technopark of IT startups "Astana Hub" signed a Memorandum on cooperation in the development of innovative startups.
In the framework of the agreement, the parties will promote and popularize innovation initiatives, develop a venture ecosystem designed to spur corporate innovations in Kazakhstan and create conditions for the aggregation of the best innovative projects.
The main areas of cooperation will be the launch of joint programs and the exchange of startups, including the organization of participation of Astana Hub projects in GenerationS corporate accelerators, the participation of experts from Astana Hub in the evaluation of projects of GenerationS corporate accelerators and the invitation of GenerationS experts to participate in Astana Hub events.
"A partnership with Astana Hub is another step forward in creating a global corporate innovation platform based on GenerationS. Exchange of experience, projects, launch of joint initiatives will create conditions for mutual development of technology businesses both in Russia and Kazakhstan and foster the footprint of our countries in the international innovation ecosystems. This is an important strategic direction for us since Kazakhstan is a rapidly evolving market, which already has strong startups developing on the global stage and the potential of this market will only grow," commented Ekaterina Petrova, Director of the corporate accelerator GenerationS.

GenerationS is a federal platform for development of corporate acceleration instruments. RVC has been established in 2013. Currently the Accelerator’s infrastructure includes over 15 thnd start-ups coming from 30 countries, 400 corporate and ecosystem partners. In 2018, GenerationS became the first Russian accelerator, which obtained the approval of Global Accelerator Network (GAN).
