Since 2013, more than 16,000 applications from Russian and foreign startups have been submitted for participation in accelerator programs, and 500 projects have successfully passed the acceleration. Startups presented over 400 solutions and signed more than 100 business contracts.

Today, GenerationS alumni operate not only in Russia, but also in the USA (17%), the CIS (35%), Europe (30%), the Middle East (5%), as well as in Asian countries (13%) - 42 countries in total. For example, ExoAtlet, which opened offices in South Korea, Japan, Luxembourg, the USA and China, as well as WantResult with 130 offices in Russia and the CIS.

Over the years of the work with startups GENSFamily alumni community was created — an environment where startups can share their experiences, communicate and receive various recommendations related to the business development. Startups receive the support even after they passed the acceleration program: GenerationS team helps to promote their projects in the Russian and foreign markets, as well as interaction with investors and corporate customers.

Ekaterina Petrova, Managing director at GenerationS corporate accelerator by RVC: «Since the foundation of GenerationS we have managed not only to contribute to the development of the innovation ecosystem in Russia, but also to form up a whole community of like-minded people represented by our accelerator alumni and partners worldwide. It is very important for us not only to support startups, but also to create an environment where they can feel comfortable and share their experience and knowledge with other members of the community. As an accelerator, we are committed to solve a variety of tasks, and we are proud that the geography of our partners allows us to adopt the best international practices and opens new opportunities within international markets. GenerationS wide network of contacts helps our alumni to open new opportunities related to finding new partners and attracting investment, both Russian and foreign, in their projects. GenerationS highly appreciates projects that have passed acceleration program and is trying to contribute to their promotion and support at all levels».

The results of the GenerationS work are summed up in the analytical report «Alumni Map GenerationS 2020». The GenerationS team used tools such as a post-acceleration questionnaire and publicly available information to calculate the quantitative indicators of the Alumni Map (number of pilots and staff, investment volume and revenue). Information obtained directly from Accelerator’s alumni was used while preparing the business cases. All the startups featured in the Alumni Map have agreed to the publication of materials.
