The Accounts Chamber of the Russian Federation and GenerationS launched a Contest for research projects in public administration

The main purpose of the Contest is to solve urgent research problems in the field of data analytics, the results of which can be applied directly in the day-to-day work of the Accounts Chamber of the Russian Federation.

DataContest will take place from November 2 to December 11. Professionals in the field of data analytics who know how to make the public administration system more efficient are invited to participate, including:

• Researchers and research teams with experience and necessary competencies in key areas of the Accounts Chamber's activities;
• Teams developing solutions based on data analytics;
• Senior students (3-4 years of bachelor's, master's, postgraduate studies), practicing work with data.

Within a month, the selected teams will be able to propose and refine their research projects under the guidance of mentors and experts from the Accounts Chamber, conduct additional research and develop analytical solutions for the tasks assigned to them. The projects will be evaluated by a jury, which will include auditors of the Accounts Chamber, as well as leading industry experts. Best teams will get an opportunity to present their results in the professional community. The most interesting projects will be honored at the awards ceremony, which is scheduled in mid-December.

To participate in the Contest, it is necessary to offer a solution to one of the presented tasks in key areas: audit in the field of procurement of the energy complex; audit of state support for entrepreneurship and reserve funds; audit of industry and technological development; audit of transport and international cooperation; audit of education, science and innovation, etc. All tasks are listed on the official web site of the Contest: http://data-contest.ru/

In early 2021, the Digital Transformation Department of the Accounts Chamber will hold its second Hackathon - DataAudit 2021, where the corporate accelerator GenerationS will also act as a partner.
