Of course, we, like any engineering company, are interested in start-ups in the field of additive technologies, new materials and processing techniques, engineering projects, robotics, software associated with the modelling and calculation, etc. All of this is of a great interest for our business and is required by all the high-tech companies operating in global markets. Another important moment for the development of our internal competencies is the fact that the best specialists of Saturn will become experts for the applications consideration and mentors for the projects, it will let us look beyond the current technical capabilities, see prospects in interdisciplinary areas. For us, GenerationS is the next step of "Saturn" into open innovations, and we are glad that we are making it together with such an experienced partner as RVC".

NPO Saturn participation in GenerationS is a pilot format of use of the "open innovations" tools in the corporate environment. RVC CEO and Chairman of the Board Igor Agamirzyan notices:"The GenerationS goal is to ensure synergy of major Russian innovation corporations and promising technological projects offering solutions that are required by these corporations even today. Using the GenerationS opportunities, RVC together with NPO Saturn is going to support the projects that will be required including by innovation enterprises of territorial cluster "Gas turbine and power plant engineering" in Yaroslavl region. Thus, the agreement will help to attract new high-tech projects in the cluster's innovation environment and will become an important step in implementing Saturn's initiative to create an innovation infrastructure around the company".

Sergey Bogdanov, RCI NP Executive Director:"Being the operator of the AeroSpace track of GenerationS accelerator, we are planning to involve the greatest country universities training specialists and engaged in the research work in areas which are attractive for both corporate partners of the accelerator and other leading companies in the aerospace industry. And, as inter-industry relations are more relevant today like never before, we will invite to participate in GenerationS the projects whose connection with the aerospace industry may not be obvious, but which can solve any problem in production, safety issues, IT or management efficiency".
